Approved by and for children

Looking for an outing with children? Museum Fort Liezele is officially approved by and for children. We do nothing more than immensely captivate you and your little eye(s). We hope you'll soon feel at home.

Interactive experience

Thanks to clear models, fun interactive screens, virtual reality and fascinating films with real images from the past, history really becomes tangible here. Children can watch, discover and try things out for themselves.

The mysterious corridors, redecorated rooms and impressive gun turrets excite the imagination. For a moment, you imagine yourself in another time. A visit that young and old enjoy together.

Blue spot

Do you spot the blue spot anywhere else? That means it's okay to smooch there, too. By 2026, more than 70 Belgian museums are approved by and for children.

Catering for families

Visitors can consume their own packed lunch at Fort Café De Batterie. It is not possible to consume your own drinks there as well. The Fortcafé also serves snacks.
